The American Mathematics
Competition is a national competition that seeks to discover and reward exceptional
mathematical ability. The grade 10 contest is administered to all 9th and 10th grade
accelerated students. The grade 12 contest is administered to all 11th and 12th
grade accelerated students. Both contests are taken simultaneously during the school
day. Calculators are allowed. Both individual and school awards are given at
the national level. Students with scores over 100 are invited to take part in the
American Invitational Mathematics Examination. |
